After leading the annual ceres liner stockholders meeting and board election of Vallacar Transit Inc last December 4, 2021, Olivia Yanson once again led the Annual Stockholders Meeting and board election of sister company Ceres Liner Travel and Tours Inc. in her dual capacity as conjugal co-owner and court-appointed special administrator of the estate of her late husband Ricardo B. Yanson.
It will be recalled that in an Order dated October 21, 2021, a Bacolod court-appointed Olivia as special administrator of the estate of Ricardo.
During the meeting held at CLTTI’s principal office at Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City on January 3, 2022, Olivia, Leo Rey V. Yanson, Ginnette Y. Dumancas, Charles M. Dumancas, Anita G. Chua, Arvin John V. Villaruel, and Daniel Nicolas Golez were re-elected as members of CLTTI’s board of directors.
The board thereafter held an organizational meeting and repointed Leo Rey V. Yanson as chairman of the board and president of CLTTI and Olivia V. Yanson as corporate secretary and treasurer.
Stockholders Roy V. Yanson (Roy), Ma. Lourdes Celina Yanson-Lopez (Celina), Ricardo V. Yanson Jr. (Ricky) were absent during the meeting despite due notice given them. Roy, Celina and Ricky are believed to be unable to attend the meeting because they are hiding abroad as fugitives from justice together with their sister Emily V. Yanson (Emily).
Leo Rey V. Yanson, the re-elected chairman and president of CLTTI said that despite the challenges faced in 2021, the Yanson Group of Bus Companies remains committed to providing the riding public with the most reliable means of public transportation for all.
