Yanson Group of Bus Companies is founded by Ricardo B. Yanson Sr. and his wife, Olivia Villaflores Yanson in 1968. The company started with a lone 14-seater jeepney plying a single route. After several years of service and under the stewardship of its founders continued under the leadership of Leo Rey Yanson (LRY), the bus conglomerate is now home to more than 4,800 buses plying 2,000+ public routes, manned by 18,000+ employees, serving 700,000+ passengers daily. These are the subsidiary companies under the parent Yanson Group of Bus Companies (YGBC) owned by the Yanson family of Negros Occidental as of 2016 operating in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao making it one of the biggest bus conglomerates in Southeast Asia.

Vallacar Transit, Inc.

Founded in 1968, Vallacar Transit Incorporated (VTI) Ricardo B. Yanson (died October 25, 2015) and his wife, Olivia Villaflores Yanson, is the first subsidiary of the Yanson Group of Bus Companies. It started with Ceres Liner which is named after the founder's younger sister. By 1980, Ceres Liner was covering the whole province of Negros.

Ceres Liner Travel and Tours, Inc.

Established in 2007, Ceres Liner Travel and Tours, Inc. pioneered travel between Iloilo City and Metro Manila through the Western Nautical Highway.In 2016, Ceres Liner bought around 70 bus franchises from D' Rough Riders Express. It then formed a new brand as Sugbo Transit which is named after the old name of Cebu, Sugbo. Currently, the said branding is under the management of Ceres Liner's Cebu Base.

Founded in 2015, Bachelor Express bought out Weena Express and sister company People's Transport Corporation and formed Mindanao Star Bus Transport Incorporated

Bachelor Express, Inc.

In 1981, Ricardo B. Yanson and his wife, Olivia Villaflores Yanson ventured into Mindanao. They bought out Fortune Express and Bachelor Express, both Cagayan de Oro-based bus companies in 1985, and merged them into Bachelor Express Incorporated, using the same name as one of the conditions of the contract of sale.

In July 2013, the conglomerate bought out CCJRC Liner, a bus line mainly serving Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte.

In December 2014, they bought out Weena Express, a bus line serving Mindanao Star. This development has allowed the conglomerate to serve the Central Mindanao area.

Rural Transit (Mindanao), Inc.

Rural Transit of Mindanao Incorporated (RTMI) is a bus line under the umbrella of Yanson Group of Bus Companies (YGBC). It operates bus transport services in the northern and western part of Mindanao, with its headquarters in Cagayan de Oro. Its bases are located in Bulua and Yacapin (both in Cagayan de Oro), Pagadian, and Dipolog.

CFRC

Countryside Food Resources Corporation

COUNTRYSIDE Food Resources Corporation (CFRC) held its annual stockholders meeting on March 1, 2021 at its principal office in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.

During the meeting, Olivia Yanson, Leo Rey Yanson, Ginnette Dumancas, Charles Dumancas, Anita Chua, Arvin John Villaruel, Rey Ardo, and Daniel Nicolas Golez were re-elected as members of CFRC’s Board of Directors.

The Board thereafter held an organizational meeting and Leo Rey Yanson was re-appointed as chairman of the Board and president of CFRC, while Olivia Yanson was re-appointed as CFRC’s corporate secretary and treasurer.
